ISC2 Singapore Chapter Session Overview
Introduction
The ISC2 Singapore Chapter invites you to participate in a pivotal session focused on the next major evolution in cybersecurity. As the industry approaches the quantum era, this session aims to move beyond the surface-level headlines and foster a discussion centered on strategic resilience and technical realities.
Overview
The rise of quantum technologies is beginning to reshape long-term cybersecurity strategy, but the conversation is often filled with hype, misconceptions, and uncertainty. This session explores the emerging quantum landscape through the lens of cybersecurity practitioners and technology leaders — focusing on what truly matters today, what is still evolving, and how organizations can realistically prepare.
The talk will briefly key developments including quantum computing, quantum-safe/quantum-resilient technologies, quantum machine learning and share practical challenges around the technologies, interoperability, standards and operational deployment.
This talk hopes to debunk misconceptions and keep cybersecurity leaders, engineers, architects, and decision-makers updated and whoever want to learn more about quantum and what it means to our work in cybersecurity.
Call to Action
Attend this session to acquire the necessary insights for advancing your organization from quantum awareness to quantum readiness. Together, we can build a quantum-safe future.
