Come and join us in the month of August for a knowledge-sharing event organised by the (ISC)2 Singapore Chapter. 

Synopsis

At this event, we will deep-dive into the area of OT (Operational Technology) Security with a panel of expert speakers from the industry. They will be sharing their thought-leadership and views on topics related to the myths, realities and challenges to OT Security in the current Cybersecurity threat and regulatory landscape.

Presenters' Bio:

 

Andre Shori 

 

Andre Shori is a Senior Manager in the Maritime industry, focused on Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Governance. Andre also has a Masters in Cybersecurity Management from SANS and over 20 cybersecurity certifications including the CISSP. Originally from Canada, he has spent the last 12 years in Singapore where he volunteers much of his time helping to grow the cybersecurity ecosystem.  Andre is on the executive committee for the ISC2 Singapore chapter and currently holds the post of Chapter Secretary.

The current challenges and fundamental differences between IT and OT are areas that fascinate him, and he is always excited to learn more best practices, practical considerations and ideas surrounding this growing area.

 

Hoo Chuan Wei 

 

 

Chuan-Wei is the Chief Information Security Officer, Senior Vice President and Chief Cybersecurity Technology Officer with ST Engineering, and has been in the IT industry since 1992 with more than 20 years of experience in information security.

He provides thought leadership, formulates and implements strategic technology development, manages professional services and cybersecurity operations.

Prior to ST Engineering, he was the IBM Security Executive Security Advisor, who was honored as:

• • 2014 (ISC)² Asia-Pacific President's Award Honoree,

• • 2013 (ISC)² Senior Information Security Leadership Achievement (ISLA) Honoree,

• • 2012 (ISC)² Information Security Leadership Achievement (ISLA) Honoree and

  • 2010 IDG Chief Security Officer (CSO) ASEAN Award winner.

His career includes various IT management roles in the financial and telecommunication sector regionally. He is also an authorised instructor with (ISC)², lectures at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Institute of Systems Science-National University of Singapore (ISS-NUS) and Temasek Polytechnic.

He received his IT degree from University of Southern Queensland and carries the following professional industry certifications: CISSP, CISA, CFE and BCCE.

 

 Huang Shao Fei

 

Shao Fei received his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tokyo under the support of the Singapore Public Service Commission and Japan Monbusho scholarships. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester, as well as CITPM and CISSP-ISSMP certifications. He currently serves as the President of the Infocomm Security (IS) Chapter of the Singapore Computer Society, and co-chairs the Cybersecurity Working Group at the International Association of Public Transport (UITP).

Paolo has contributed 25+ years of strong leadership excellence, enabling enterprise innovation and creativity with recognition in the CIO Asia CIO 100, MIS Asia IT Excellence and (ISC)2 APAC ISLA Awards.  He completed his Masters in CIO Practices (NUS) and B.Sc. Industrial Engineering (DLSU) with hands-on expertise in IT Leadership, IT Governance, Project Management, Cyber Security, SAP ERP, CRM and other enterprise solutions.  He served (ISC)2 Singapore Chapter in various Director roles including Vice President, Membership and Partnership.  He loves working with the latest technologies such as Machine Learning and IoT to provide the most suitable solutions for the top national, regional and global companies.
