|President – Sam Goh (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CPISI, SBCI, ISO27001 Lead Auditor)
Sam has just over 20 years of experience in IT & Information Security industry, of which he spent 13 years working in Australia, UK and Asia Pacific. He has worked primarily in Banking & Telecommunications and last 7 years in Professional Services. He is currently one of the Senior Managing Consultant, IBM Security Services APAC Center of Competencies.
He had co-founded and actively running the (ISC)2 Singapore Chapter for the past 5 years since its inception since 2012. In 2015, He has also been recognized as one of (ISC)2 Senior Information Security Leadership (ISLA) Honoree in Asia Pacific.
Sam earned his Bachelor of Science (Information Systems) from The University of Melbourne, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in Electronic-Crime Investigation from a Public-Private Partnership course from The University of Melbourne and Victoria Police’s Computer Crime Squad with straight distinctions. He has been a CISSP since 2005.
|Vice-President – Matthias Yeo (CISSP, CISA, CISM, PMP®)
Matthias holds a Masters in Strategic Technology from NUS, Golden Key Award from Monash University and served as Director on the board of O School Ltd, as well as board of technology advisor in BeaconRock Ventures for cyber investment. He was also featured in SG50 “A Nation of Skilled Talent”.
|Secretary – Andre Shori, (CISSP, PMP®, GIAC)
Andre Shori hails from Vancouver, Canada and has over 20 year’s International experience as a Project Manager in Information Technology. He holds a variety of certifications in the Cyber Security arena and has been a member of (ISC)2 since 2009.
Andre holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in International Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Technology. He is also a current World Record holder in the Guinness Book of World Records. Andre is working his way through the Masters of Science in Information Security Management program from the prestigious SANS Institute.
|Treasurer – Garion Kong (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CVE, ITILv3, MCP, MCTS)
Garion Kong is an IT professional with more than 16 years experience in the IT industry. He is currently a Technical Services Associate with a Risk Modelling software company managing the IT infrastructure for their branch offices in the APAC region. From his earlier roles in his career, Garion was involved in leading the IT infrastructure and operations management, information systems security management and regional service desk support for the APAC region. Garion holds a Bachelors (Hons) degree in Business Information Technology.
After work, Garion volunteers his time with not-for-profit organisations in the IT industry, serving in the executive councils of IT Service Management Forum Singapore Chapter (itSMF) and (ISC)2 Singapore Chapter.
|Assistant Secretary – Joachim Nathan (CISSP)
Joachim has 24 years of IT experience in the Financial and Logistics industry. He has a Masters in Software engineering from NUS-ISS. He has worked for Financial information providers Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters) , SIX Financial Information and a software firm specializing in freight forwarding solutions (IPACS Asia Pte Ltd).
He has managed a range of initiatives involving customer support, business process re-engineering, compliance, business continuity planning and management, infrastructure design changes, platform migrations, cost reductions on technologies and telecommunication, managing service improvements on real-time feeds while maintaining SLA for customers in the APAC region.
He is currently working as the ArcSight Support Delivery Manager for APJ in Micro Focus.
|Assistant Treasurer – Anthony Dayrit (CISSP, CEH, GIAC, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor, Certified PCI Security Implementer)
Anthony has 15+ years of IT Experience 6 of which is focused on Information Security. He has a degree of Electronics & Communications Engineering and previously worked with various MNC firms such as Cisco-Linksys, Trend Micro, Barclays Capital, and Leo Tech Services (a software development house based in Singapore) as IT Security & Compliance Manager, where he also served as Data Protection Officer.
He is currently working full time at Global Blue (a tourism shopping tax refund company) where is responsible for the company’s Infrastructure and Application Security.
He is a contributing member of EC-Council Scheme Committee and an active member of the Open Web Application Security Project locally.
|Membership Director – Raul Paolo Miranda (CISSP, CITPM, ACTA)
Paolo has contributed 25+ years of strong leadership excellence, enabling enterprise innovation and creativity with recognition in the CIO Asia CIO 100, MIS Asia IT Excellence and (ISC)2 APAC ISLA Awards. He is a core leader and co-author of the CIO Book “INSPIRE Beyond SG50”.
He completed his Masters in CIO Practices (NUS) and B.Sc. Industrial Engineering (DLSU) with hands-on expertise in IT Project Management (CITPM), Cyber Security (CISSP), SAP ERP (MM & FI/CO), IT & Corporate Governance, Enterprise Architecture, CRM, Consulting, Business Development and Education (ACTA). He has implemented enterprise solutions for the top global, regional and local companies.
|Communications Director – Joseph Koh (CISSP)
Joseph Koh has 20 years of IT experience across broad range of roles including business development, project management, account and sales management. He has worked for leading info-communication companies such as Singtel, ST Electronics and Telstra. In his early years, he was product engineer at Hewlett Packard PC Division and project team lead at MHA (Police Dept) where he successfully led large-scale projects to completion. He is well versed with the local public sector having been involved in G-Cloud, Standard Operating Environment and Government Digital Services.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from NUS. As a CISSP, he sees significant values in weaving in security track in today’s conversation addressing a rapidly changing IT landscape. He gives talk at ISC2 local chapter with a specialisation in User Behavior Analytics.
|Events Director – Victor Yeo (CISSP, QISP, ACTA)
Victor Yeo is the Deputy General Manager of ST Electronics (Info-Security) Pte Ltd. He oversees the strategic plan, new capability and business development for the company.
He has been Project Director for Security Operation Center design and built in Singapore and played a lead role in establishing ST Electronics Cyber Security Center. The Centre is the first in Singapore and the region to offer NICF-Cyber Security Operation Specialist and (ISC)2-System Security Certified Professional (SSCP) training with practical hands-on using a cyber range. He also was involved in various Information Technology implementations in the SAF as a dual tracked Combat and Technology Military Officer prior to his current appointment.
He holds a Master of Science (MSc), System Integration from the Naval Postgraduate School, US and a Bachelor of Engineering 2nd Upper Honor (BEng), Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Manchester, UK.
|Events Director – Michael Chong (CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, OPST, OSWA)
Michael Chong has been working in IT industry over 18 years and in IT Security industry for over 14 years. He has been in both IT technical and security roles that includes IT systems technical implementation and support, security products post-sales support, IT Security Consultant, Auditor and Solution Architect for public sectors and private enterprise customers.
He is currently a Security Architect with a local Cyber Security company, Verint Systems Singapore Pte Ltd (VSS). Previously he was with MMC, NEC Corporation (GSD) as Security Architect and a local SI, PCS Security Pte Ltd as Senior Security Consultant.
He graduated from University of London with a degree in Computing and Information Systems and is certified in many leading security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, OPST, BCCS, OSWA and Qualified ISO/IEC 27001:2005 ISMS Lead Auditor.
|Events Director – Alice Lee
Alice Lee is an IT Director at a multinational corporation. With over 15 years of experience in IT and Information Security, Alice has a proven track record of establishing and managing successful and trusted IT security services that support critical business operations. She also has extensive experience in managing the full spectrum of IT operations, including Application Design & Development, System Administration & Management, Application & Operation Support, Risk and Security Operation Management.
In her current role, Alice manages the development and implementation of security principles of secured IT services, including Cryptography Implementation and Operations, involving PKI (Pubic Key Infrastructure) & HSM( Hardware Security Module), Identity management, Access Control, and functional security requirements.
Alice has an MBA and holds a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. With a keen eye on the continuously evolving technology landscape, she keeps her expertise relevant with various professional certifications, including CISSP, CSSP, and CISM.
|Events Director – Magda Chelly
Magda Lilia Chelly, is the Managing Director of Responsible Cyber Pte. by day, and a cyber feminist hacker by night. Magda spends most of her time supporting chief information security officers in their cyber security strategy and roadmap. She reviews technical architectures, cloud migrations, and digital transformations. She is continuously raising cyber security awareness & diversity at a global scale.
She is currently based in Singapore, with a global reach through her company in 19 locations worldwide. She speaks five languages fluently, and has a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering with a subsequent specialization in cyber security. She also was recently nominated as global leader of the year at the Women in IT Awards 2017, and TOP 50 cyber security influencer globally.
